a brief
profile.
dhaka, bangladesh — smjubaer.0.00@gmail.com
i'm a high-school researcher working at the seam between machine learning and the things that move through the world- autonomous vehicles, pedestrians, and the small uncertainties that decide whether a system is safe. my published work studies adaptive uncertainty in reinforcement learning, lightweight simulation for safety-critical evaluation, and the pedestrian archetypes that ought to live inside any honest av test suite.
lately i spend most of my hours a layer above that - on llm reasoning (how models think across long chains, where they confabulate, where they actually plan), llm memory (retrieval, episodic stores, the slow problem of remembering what mattered), and diffusion models as a generative substrate for perception, simulation, and world models.
alongside all of that, i help curate low-resource speech datasets at bengali.ai, lead research at notre dame college's largest student club, and try, where possible, to keep the mathematics honest and the prose short.
